One of the most important factors Google uses to determine your blog’s rank is your posting frequency.
Unfortunately, one of the biggest problems most bloggers have is posting frequently. Usually, this is because they have trouble coming up with good content ideas.
To help you out, I’d like to share the following formula with you…
Here is ‘The Three C’s Formula For Finding Blog Post Ideas:‘
1. Customers
Listen to what your customers are asking you when you speak with them. Look at what they’re searching for on your blog or what page links they’re clicking on. Find out what they’re talking about on other forums. Then, make a written list of the topics and questions you see. Do this, and you will end up with an almost unlimited list of ideas for future blog posts!
2. Current Events
Look at what’s trending in the news. Tie it into your business. For example, the Today Show unveiled a new, very orange set this morning. If I were in the business of color (as you are), I’d talk about “The New Color Combinations the Today Show Is Using And Why They Are/Are Not Effective.”
If you don’t know what’s trending in the news, just go to google.com/trends or news.google.com to find out.
3. Competition
You know you spend a little too much time surfing the competition’s blogs anyway. Might as well put that surfing to good use. If you see a good topic there, add it to your list and write an ORIGINAL post, putting your own spin on it.
If you spend just a few minutes a day on these ideas, you’ll generate more than enough blog post ideas for many weeks, months and years to come!
